Together, my brothers, my sisters, we are going to begin a new struggle, a sublime struggle, which will lead our country to peace, prosperity, and greatness. Together, we are going to establish social justice…make the Congo a nation, happy and free. - Patrice Emery Lumumba. |

There are different ways one can help the Congolese people in their struggle for freedom and fundamental rights that are dear to everyone, worldwide. In the past ten (10) yeans more than half a million women have been brutally raped, more than six million people have died and more than 4 million children have been orphaned and/or abandoned in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Anyone can help save a life and tell the world that “Enough Is Enough” by:
- Donating and/or raising funds on behalf of the Congolese people;
- Hosting informational meetings to raise public awareness about the plight of the DRC and its people;
- Organize efforts to circulate petitions and implement letter writing campaigns, sponsor appearances by public figures, give testimony (especially before legislative bodies such as the US Congress) and other similar public appeals to bring the situation in the DRC to the attention of the world and in particular public, church, media and corporate officials;
- Participating in the CIC’s workshops, forums and other grassroots activities in your neighborhood, town, city or state;
Your participation will allow us to run one or more of the above programs. |
